Hi, I'm Omani Reed — a Cloud Associate at Cloudforce with a passion for helping others build on Azure. With a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, my career began in advocacy and service. I worked as a non-injury auto claims adjuster at USAA, where I developed strong communication and analytical skills. At the same time, I served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), supporting the welfare of children in the foster care system. Although I originally pursued a path toward juvenile probation or detective work, I ultimately decided against becoming a police officer. Still, my passion for protecting others and making a meaningful impact remained—and that passion eventually led me to cybersecurity. Today, I’m a cloud and cybersecurity professional with hands-on experience in infrastructure as code, Azure, and AI integration. I hold certifications including CompTIA CySA+, Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), and Azure AI Fundamentals (AI-900). In my current role, I’ve contributed to the development and automation of QA test cases for a new AI platform, supporting the dev and QA teams through release cycles. I’ve also deployed AI agents, automated workflows, and continue to deepen my skills in cybersecurity and cloud technologies.
